This virtual, interactive event presents esteemed experts in community engagement, advocacy, and policy development focused on saving Black lives.

Included will be:

  • A panel discussion on the effects of the tobacco industry's predatory marketing of menthol cigarettes and other flavored tobacco products
  • Spoken word and musical performances,
  • Breakout sessions with tailored "Calls to Action" focused discussion groups

Presentations will address the effects of the tobacco industry's predatory marketing of menthol cigarettes and other flavored tobacco products; and the juxtaposition of health, economic, and social disparities resulting from tobacco and the current COVID-19 crisis. Learn how social action, advocacy, and the iVote campaign can create opportunities to engage with our policymakers to improve the lives of Black Americans.
